New beginner pony lift!
This short surface lift will go up the right side of the lowest part of the Bunny Trail, where the beginner area is. Mountain folks re-graded some of this area to make it friendlier for the inexperienced skiers, boarders and their instructors. The mountain personnel are very grateful to those that donated the funds for this lift, and invite everyone to the dedication and opening ceremony of the lift at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 13. They will also be having a Pancake breakfast from 7 to 10 a.m. on that morning.
Nordic enthusiasts are working on Saturday mornings, from 7 to 10 a.m. to ready the trails for the excavator. Come on over and enjoy early Saturday mornings in the woods.
New Snow Guns!
The mountain has purchased two new McKinney (Whittier) snow guns for their snowmaking efforts for early in the season. This gun should be much more efficient and produce more snow than our older models. We will also demo another gun and will hopefully be able to purchase one next year also.
