The Auburn Fire Department sponsored a fire safety drawing contest during fire safety week. Seven students won the drawing contest at Saint Peter and Sacred Heart School. These seven were chosen out of the whole school. Six of them won tee – shirts and one won the ride to school in the fire truck, To win this contest kids from K – 6 had to draw a picture of fire safety. The students that won are: Nikolas White, kindergarten; Olivia Mayo, grade one; Matt Stalford, grade two; Logan Lecompte, grade three; Brady Lare, 4th grade four and also winning the ride on a fire truck; Hailey Girardin, grade five and Kacie Rioux, grade six.
