Richard Paradis and Danny Lajoie, students at Saint Peter and Sacred Heart School and writers for The Advocate, are young rising hockey stars in the L/A Travel League.

Dan Lajoie has played hockey for ten years. He is playing on the Bantam travel team 8. Dan started playing hockey when he was four years old. Danny started playing because his dad made him. He has played on the travel team for the past three years. He plays left wing on the second line, Danny has an Easton Cyclone stick and Bauer Infinity skates. He plans on making it to the N.H.L in his career.

Richard plays center and left wing. He has played travel hockey for six years. Richard was two years old when he started playing. He has played hockey for eight years. He plays on the peewee travel team A. Richard has an Easton Synergy Grip and Bauer 8,000 skates. Richard plays first line. Richard said, “I started playing hockey because my dad played hockey and introduced me to the sport. I enjoyed it.” Richard hopes on making it to the Division One college league and maybe the N.H.L.
