Incident
• Jan. 16: Chief Richard Pickett responded to a request for police assistance concerning a trespassing incident at Dirigo High School. According to Pickett’s report, the matter grew out an incident at a recent Dirigo High School sporting event. Later in the day, another Dixfield officer responded to the school again, escorting the individual off school grounds and issuing a criminal trespass warning to the subject.
• Jan. 14: As of Jan. 21, an investigation continues into a complaint from Bangor Savings Bank employees about a vehicle that was being operated in a reckless and unsafe manner in the bank’s parking lot.
• Jan. 14: Officer Matthew Noyes received a report stating that a teenage girl had been sexually assaulted. Officer Mark Dow is investigating the allegation.
• Jan. 14: Police received a suspicious person report from a resident who lives in a rural area west of Morrison Hill. According to Pickett, the resident had seen the unfamiliar man near area residences on several occasions since November. “All Dixfield residents are encouraged to report any suspicious activity that they witness,” Pickett said.
• Jan. 13: An investigation continues into the reported theft of jewelry from a Dixfield resident.
Summons
• Hans Harris, no age given, of Dixfield, on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with registration expired more than 150 days.
