I used to find it amusing. Now I find it irritating. The Sun Journal is a newspaper that is consistently receiving top newspaper awards, however it can’t ensure that the headlines are spelled correctly. I have wondered what it takes to have the print spell checked before it hits the press.
In the Jan. 21 edition, on page C8, “Heating up in New Hamshire” caused me to just look and shake my head. Certainly a newspaper with the Sun Journal’s resources and pride can get this right.
I love the Web site improvements. I can only wonder why the Sun Journal hasn’t found the spell-check button. In my mind, it destroys much of the credibility of a fine newspaper.
