Howard Dean has shown no doubt regarding his commitment to certain objectives in America’s future: We will not go to war for unjustified reasons; every American deserves health care coverage.
The main reason I will vote for Howard Dean, however, is because he believes that citizens cannot sit passively and think their country will be great without their involvement. Dean has motivated thousands of Americans to take an active role in the fate of this country. He has inspired people to get together in their local communities, get to know other Democrats and share their feelings about this country.
The sign of a great president is that he can rally a large group of diverse peoples and unify them, get them out of their armchairs and infuse them with the truth: that one person cannot lead a democracy, there must be the support and the active involvement of the people.
