MEXICO – Topics on the agenda for the Citizen’s Advisory Board meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, in the town office conference room include updates on the turnpike sign and progress on a $10,000 Gateway program. Among the other items are: downtown events like a farmers’ market, a riverbank celebration, and more; a progress report on demolishing a decrepit building; information on the kiosk and gazebo; and new business regarding the faade grant.

School merger

PERU – A hearing on the proposed Peru school merger with SAD 21 is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 11. The meeting will take place at the school at 6 p.m.

Peru caucus

PERU – The Peru Democratic party caucus will take place at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 8, at the Rockemeka Grange Hall in Peru Center. The town clerk will be present beginning at 2:30 to register new voters wishing to participate.

Boosters meeting
