NEWRY – Sunday River Ski Resort will present The Rick Charette Duo Saturday, Feb. 28, as the Black Diamond Family Entertainment Series continues its season.
Charette’s shows blend original contemporary pop music and lyrics with imaginative lyrics that generate audience participation. Charette has composed songs that draw from experiences that children can relate to or imagine, such as mud, riding a bike, a best friend, spilling juice or bubble gum.
Curtain time is 7 p.m. Charette and keyboard player Roy Clark will perform in the grand ballroom of the Grand Summit Resort Hotel.
Tickets are $4 for children (ages 6 to 12) and adults $6 in advance, or $6 and $8 at the door. Admission for children under 5 is free. Tickets may be purchased on the mountain or at Books & Things in Bethel. FMI: call (207) 824-3575.
