• April 16, 12:29 a.m.: A caller to 911 reported finding a totaled 1987 Ford F150 pickup truck, which had rolled over into a ditch along the Swain Road. When police and emergency responders arrived, the driver was nowhere to be found.

Following an on-scene investigation, police learned the alleged driver, Trevor Hebert, 18, of Rumford, had walked up the road to a residence. He was issued a summons for operating under the influence and is to be arraigned on June 1 in Rumford District Court.

• April 15: A Pine Street resident reported the burglary and theft of an X-Box game system, valued at $230, sometime since April 9.

• April 15, after school let out: Police were alerted to a fight between two Mountain Valley High School students – a 14-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy, both of Rumford. An assault charge is pending further investigation after it was learned that one of the youths suffered broken teeth.

• April 15: A Cumberland Street resident reported that someone broke into two locked garages sometime between Wednesday morning and Thursday evening, taking two boomboxes valued at a total of $500.

• April 12: Police received a report from the State Sex Offender Registry that convicted sex offender Glen Scott Dubois, 27, of Rumford, hadn’t re-registered with police as required by state law. Police contacted Dubois and advised him to comply, said Sgt. Stacy Carter.

• April 10: An Urquhart Street resident reported the burglary and theft of $105 worth of tools and a toolbox from his vehicle.
Arrests:

• Debra Hann, 42, of Rumford, on a charge of domestic assault, on April 15. She was released on $500 unsecured bail.

• Orin W. Sprague, 42, of Norway, on charges of operating under the influence and violation of conditions of release, on April 14. He was transported to Rumford Hospital.

• Leon Billings, 25, of Rumford, on a charge of domestic assault, on April 7. He was released on $350 unsecured bail.

• George W. Skillin, 23, of Dixfield, on a warrant for failure to appear to a charge of operating under the influence, on April 4. He was released on $300 cash bail.

• Alan S. Mason, 26, of Bethel, on a warrant for assault, on April 2. He was released on $300 cash bail.

• Peter G. Grasruck, 37, of Rumford, on charges of operating under the influence and operating after suspension, on April 2. He was released on $300 unsecured bail.

• Bryan E. Isensee, 40, of Rumford, turned himself in at the police station on a warrant for failure to appear to a charge of cultivation of marijuana, on April 1. He was released on $750 cash bail.
Summons:
• Michelle Chartier, 20, of Rumford, on a charge of operating after suspension, on April 13. She is to be arraigned on June 1 in Rumford District Court.
