Lewiston

• A 1996 Chevrolet driven by John R. Hunt, 38, 172 Crowley Road, sustained $5,000 in damages when Hunt swerved to avoid hitting a dog on Lisbon Street. After missing the dog, the vehicle crashed into a city utility pole at the corner of Lisbon and Maple streets. Damage to the pole was estimated at $2,000.

Auburn

• Vehicles driven by Deborah Maddocks, 47, 59 Mancine Road, Turner and Carrie-Anne G. Edwards, 28, 266 Blake St., Lewiston and Daniel K. Laughton, 56, Sumner Hill Road, Sumner, were involved in an accident at 1:15 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Center Street and Auburn Plaza. Maddocks’ 1989 Jeep sustained $100 in damage and Edwards’ 1992 Mercury sustained $1,000 when the two collided. Laughton tried to avoid the collision and hit a guardrail, resulting in an estimated $3,000 in damages to his 1993 Pontiac.

• Vehicles driven by Karen A. Garnier, 57, 47 Damy Drive, and Patti J. Grendell, 49, 49 Whitney St. and Noella L. Robert, 64, no street address listed, Lewiston, collided 12:49 p.m. Thursday on Main Street. Damage to Garnier’s 1994 Ford was estimated at $500; to Grendell’s 1994 Nissan, $1,500; and to Robert’s 1990 Cadillac, $1,000.

• A 12-year-old girl complained of pain in her legs after she was struck by a car crossing Manley Road at 2:19 p.m. Friday. Emmilee Wilcox, 12, 76 Stevens Mills Road, told police she neglected to look both ways before stepping onto Manley Road near the Irving Station. She was struck by a vehicle driven by Beulah A. Johnson, 71, 275 Hardscrabble Road, Poland, as she was turning left onto Manley Road from Minot Avenue. No ambulance was called to the scene.
