LEWISTON – The Manic Café at 114 Lisbon St. will feature Dave Rowe Friday, Aug. 20 and Aug. 27, as part of its new, Friday night coffeehouse show series.

The shows, which start at 8 p.m., will include selections from Rowe’s two critically acclaimed solo CD projects, “By the Way” (2002) and his new “Big Shoes” (2004), as well as songs Rowe wrote for his band Turkey Hollow.

The Manic Café is presenting local artists in this series as a night life alternative. There is no charge for admission.
