FARMINGTON – A Winslow man was sentenced to three years in state custody Friday after pleading guilty to several burglaries and assault on an officer.
Michael Eno, 19, was on probation from a previous charge in Somerset County when he entered two garages and several vehicles on Titcomb Hill Road in April.
He was accused of stealing two wallets with cash and credit cards, a digital camera, a cellular phone and compact discs.
He was charged with two counts of burglary and four counts of motor vehicle burglary.
In July, Eno was charged with assaulting correctional officers at the Franklin County jail, where he was in custody, including spitting in the face of one of them.
Justice Joseph Jabar sentenced Eno to three years for violation of probation, three years for burglary charges, and three years for assaulting an officer. All of the prison time is to run concurrent.
Jabar denied an attempt by Eno’s attorney, Kevin Joyce, to get a stay of execution of the sentence. Assistant District Attorney James Andrews had objected to the stay.
Jabar also told Eno he had $553 in unpaid fines that he would have to deal with when he is released from prison.
