LIVERMORE – The Planning Board accepted two site plans and revisions to a parking lot Tuesday night.

Although the site plans were accepted, the applicants still need to furnish missing information and be prepared to explain their plans again at public hearings at the next regular meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 21.

D&D Donuts, owned by Richard and Diane Tracy, now has a coffee shop and production facility at 34 Canton Road. The owners want to move the production facility to a site on the south side of Route 4 toward Auburn, identified as 1887 Federal Road, where it will be combined with drive-through service.

They propose to construct a metal building with a metal roof on a 32-by-60-foot slab. They have plans for an external grease tank, large septic tank and bed and a 40-foot-wide main drive, narrowing to a 15-foot drive-through area.

They anticipate their peak hours of operation will be from 5 to 10 a.m. and estimate 60 to 75 cars will be driving through.

Old Farm Enterprises LLC, operated by Martin, Tammy and Real Castonguay, presented a plan for the former Lake Shore Motel and Restaurant on Route 4 at North Livermore.

The application applies only to the property on the Long Pond side of Route 4; the applicants agreed they are not building anything but are working with an existing structure.

The trio plans to continue the use of the six-unit motel there as lodging. The former Curly’s Restaurant will become mixed use with plans to include a coffee shop/bakery and country store upstairs. The small basement area will be used as office and workspace.

Plans for a new septic system, which will be built on the opposite side using the existing easement, were included with the application.

The 12-unit hotel on the Long Pond side will be demolished as will be 12 units and the trailer on the opposite side. A single-family dwelling on the restaurant side will be sold.

The first action of the board was to accept a revised parking plan for the Carriage House Cafe on Route 4 with the provision that when the lot is paved parking slots be designated along with directional signs.
