This is in response to the letter that was printed Sept. 15 about abortion. I believe that abortion is wrong. It is one way that man seeks to be higher than God. In killing an unborn child, a person is putting her will first. What will that lead to? All throughout history, nations have crumbled because they disobeyed God. That will happen to us if we let abortion and other immoral practices take place here in America. Throughout the Bible, God punished such nations for their immorality.

We call our nation the greatest in the world because we think it is. But I believe that God made us great and God can take us down in punishment for our wrongdoing. The more we let this country go, the sooner we crumble.

Abortion is wrong, it always has been, and it always will be. I don’t care if illegal abortions occur here in the U.S., but I will care if they don’t get caught.

If President Bush succeeds in demolishing legal abortions, illegal ones will soon fall also.

I hope that we can keep President Bush around for four more years. If I were of voting age, my vote would go to him, not to a man who would see this country fall, not in the hands of terrorists, but in the hands of abortionists.

I am not sorry for bringing God into this. We should do the right thing to save America.
