NORWAY – Stephens Memorial Hospital will sponsor an American Red Cross blood drive from 7 a.m. to noon Monday, Sept. 20, at the Ripley Medical Office Building Conference Room, 181 Main St.
Donors must be at least 17 years or older, weigh at least 110 pounds, have not donated blood within the past 56 days and be feeling well the day of donation.
There is no upper age limit, and most medications are acceptable.

Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are preferred.

INDUSTRY – Shorey Chapel’s Sunday School is seeking donations of used toys and books in good condition for a rummage sale. The sale will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2.
Proceeds will be used for Church World Service care packets for children. There will be information on the Sunday School’s opening day, Oct. 3 at 9:45 a.m.
Donations of toys and books may be left at the chapel on Route 43 until Saturday, Sept. 25. Donations should be in plastic bags or other waterproof containers. For more information, people contact Lora McManus at 778-9234 or Fran Brann at 778-4224.
