JAY – Steve McCourt and former Selectman Allan Labbe are seeking the selectman’s seat held by Parker Kinney. The term runs until the annual town election in 2006.

Kinney announced earlier this month that he was resigning his seat effective Nov. 2 due to health reasons.

Selectmen have scheduled a special secret-ballot election to fill the second selectman’s seat from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 2, Election Day, at the Jay Community Building.
