JAY – A resident of Jackson Lane reported that someone tried to break into a vehicle about 3:16 a.m. Saturday.

When police Officer Roderick Small responded, he found that someone had attempted to take a stereo system from the vehicle, said Police Chief Larry White Sr. Small found no suspect in the area, White said.
