WILTON – A Main Street household is down several changes of underwear after being hit last month by a panty thief.

Interim Chief Ed Leahy of the Wilton Police Department said that several pairs of women’s underwear were stolen from a laundry line outside the home in two incidents during September, causing concern at the residence, he said.

Police have a lead on a suspect, Leahy said.
