WILTON – Planners will consider four new applications when they meet at 7 p.m. tonight at the town office.

The town needs a permit to enclose the pump station at the foot of Wilson Lake. The station is between the bridge and the retaining wall. Code Enforcement Officer Katherine Shoaps said it has been freezing during the winter, and the town plans to insulate the pump station and enclose it with wood.

Kimberly Jackson and James Avery of Wilton are proposing to operate a holistic business in the downtown village.

Michael Deschenes, also of Farmington, is proposing to build a pole barn to store lumber. Shoaps said Deschenes operates a lumber business across the street from the Laundromat on Depot Street.

Rick and Laura Fenoff of New Vineyard are asking for a use permit for a meeting house on Routes 2 and 4 by Breath of Life Ministries. Shoaps said town property is across the street.

Under old business, Shoaps will give planners a report of the permits that have been issued in town recently. Planners will also discuss discontinued road and subdivision road requirements.
