PHILLIPS – The Phillips Shared Ministry will resume a tradition that has continued for more than 100 years when it holds its annual annual chicken supper Friday, Oct. 15. Held in various town locations through the years, the chicken supper will have yet another change of place. This year, it will be in Phillips Middle School from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Probably for the first time, it will be fully accessible to all, organizers say. The menu, however, preserves the tradition: chicken, gravy, dressing, mashed potatoes, squash, coleslaw, cranberry sauce, yeast rolls, beverages and either pumpkin pie or whipped cream cake. The supper costs $6 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under. Those wishing to help or contribute food may call Mimi Hardy at 639-2131.
