LIVERMORE FALLS – Police are investigating a report of two men assaulting an elderly man Thursday and also a theft of services at an eatery.

A neighbor on Pine Ridge Loop reported that two men were shoving and cuffing the man and knocked him to the ground, Police Chief Ernest Steward Jr. said.

Police are also looking into a theft of services Thursday after a person used a debit card that was no good and promised to return to pay for a meal at RNK’s Pizza but never did, Steward said.
