FARMINGTON – One person was injured and two others suffered smoke inhalation after deep fat apparently caught fire Friday at McDonald’s on Main Street.

Farmington Deputy Fire Chief Clyde Ross said employees put the fire out with extinguishers.

One employee received minor burns and two other employees suffered from smoke inhalation, Ross said.

Ross said he did not know if the employees were taken to the hospital.

One of McDonald’s managers, Jesse August, declined comment.
