It is so interesting how morals are defined in America. I noticed that pro-lifers are almost always pro-death penalty and pro-war. Does the human soul somehow lose value as soon as it enters the world? Maybe it’s the idea that one unborn American has more of a right to live than thousands of foreign civilian lives.

While I am sure many Republicans disagree, I have to say that a child killed by an American bomb is far more obscene than two men holding hands. Are these the same religious types that fought against civil rights, ignored the holocaust and protected sexual predators in their ranks?

I looked through the Bible and found a whole bunch of references to “Love thy neighbor” and “Thou shalt not kill” but not a single reference to gay marriage.

Don Levesque writes in a letter Nov. 10 that he won’t have the “homosexual agenda and the same-sex marriage issue shoved down” his throat.

Funny, it is the conservatives who are pushing the issue.

Last time I checked, Jesus is still dead and until he comes back to clarify the position, people should stop claiming to speak for him.
