LEWISTON – Brandon Smith pitched a complete-game, two-hitter with four strikeouts, lead Andy Valley to a 10-0 victory over Gayton in American Legion baseball season opener on Thursday.

Mike Chamard went 3-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored, while Zane Armandi went 2-for-2 with two RBIs for Andy Valley. Gayton’s only hits came from Eric Waite and Dan Cloutier.
