AUBURN – Dustin Gilbert went 2-for-3 and had three RBIs to lead Lewiston/Auburn to a 6-5 win over Bonanza-Sanford in Twilight League baseball action Friday.
Lewiston/Auburn was trailing 4-1 in the sixth inning when a couple of errors led to a five-run rally. Bonanza-Sanford (13-14) allowed Lewiston/Auburn (11-15) to load the bases with an error, a walk and a mishandled sacrifice bunt before Dustin Gilbert plated a pair of runs with a single.
Mike Brennan continued the scoring with a one-run single, and two outs later, Tyler Turgeon pushed Lewiston/Auburn to a 6-4 lead with a two-run double.
Lars Borsen and Jake Rodden had two hits apiece for Bonanza-Sanford in the loss.
