Dear Sun Spots: As a recently divorced male in his mid-40s, where does one go in these Twin Cities to meet single people of my same age group? There are many clubs around for the younger set but I have not found any for my age. I moved here from a larger city, so I have no idea on the area spots. Can you please help a lonely guy with some information? – Lonely in Auburn.
Answer: In addition to responses from readers, Sun Spots checked in with a single coworker who says if you like dancing you might consider learning some line-dancing and heading to various dance clubs in the area. Many of the local adult education departments also offer a wide variety of night classes that might also interest you and help you start meeting locals in the area while doing something fun. Contact:

Internet dating can be another option. My coworker recommends checking out www.Cupid.com who cater to those finding matches in their particular geographical area. Searches can be done by age and location. Profiles are written by individuals themselves and most post photos. Also the Web site offers a matching system based on questions and will e-mail a list with matches weekly or monthly.
