JAY – Mary Howes and Tim DeMillo of Jay are seeking permission from owners of a quarry to extend a walking trail so that people can see views of the quarry and the mountains beyond. A Massachusetts company owns the large granite quarry in North Jay behind the couple’s property. The Sun Journal incorrectly reported the information in a photo caption on page B1 of Tuesday’s Franklin edition.
