NAPLES – Nick Laude scored three rushing touchdowns to lead Wells to a 42-22 win over Lake Region in Campbell Conference football action on Friday night.

In addition to scoring 18 points, Laude recorded 208 yards on 27 carries for the Warriors (2-1). Wells never trailed, leading by 28 at its widest margin.

The Lakers (1-2) were paced by Lee Maher, who had seven rushes for 106 yards. Maher had a 79-yard run late in the first quarter to tie the score at 14-14 for the Lakers (1-2), but that was the closest approach for Lake Region in the loss.
