Gov. John Baldacci said that although Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife Commissioner R. Dan Martin had done “nothing inappropriate,” he made sure the official realized he should not have placed a call to an assistant district attorney in reference to his brother’s drunken-driving arrest. Baldacci was incorrectly quoted in a story on page A3 of some editions of Friday’s newspaper.
