BRUNSWICK – Taryn King recorded a hat trick to send undefeated Bowdoin to a 5-1 victory over UMaine-Farmington.
An aggresive Bowdoin (11-0) attack resulted in a pair of first-half penalty strokes, which King converted to give her team a 2-0 lead.
The Beavers (9-4) cut into the lead before halftime when a shot from Kristi Cochin was redirected by Mary Sinclair past Bowdoin keeper Kate Leonard with 2:25 remaining before intermission. Bowdoin took conrol in the second half, as King completed her hat trick with a goal at the 25:15 mark. Allyson Craib put home a penalty corner at 18:51 and Tamlyn Frederick scored from a tough angle.
Leonard needed only one save to notch the win, while Kaeliegh Barker turned away 11 shots in net for the Beavers.

Colby 2, UMF 1
FARMINGTON – Colby scored at the 80:41 mark to edge UMaine-Farmington 2-1.
After Colby stepped out to a 1-0 lead in the first half, Joe Conway tied things up for the Beavers (3-7-2) with an assist from Craig Cameron. Brian Lemont turned aside seven shots in net.
Bowdoin 3, Gordon 1
BRUNSWICK – Bowdoin scored twice in the final 15 minutes to post a 3-1 win over Gordon. Wolf Gruber one-touched the ball home to start the scoring for the Polar Bears (9-2-1). Nick Figueiredo put Bowdoin up 2-1 in the second half before Simon Parsons added an insurance goal with under a minute remaining to seal the victory.

USM 1, UMF 0
GORHAM – Liz Brunton pursued a service into the box by Jenna Wasylak and touched home a shot from 6 yards away to lift Southern Maine to a 1-0 victory over UMaine-Farmington.
Mindy Morneault was credited with two saves while recording her fifth shutout. Melissa Demerchant turned aside one shot for UMF (9-4-2).
