PORTLAND – Ernest Turner drained 21 points Tuesday night to lead the University of Maine to a 64-55 victory over Dartmouth in collegiate men’s basketball action.

Rashard Turner chipped in for the Black Bears (3-6) with 16 points, while Olli Ahvenniemi and Phil Tchekane Bofia added nine apiece.

Mike Lang led Dartmouth (1-3) with a 12-point performance, while Leon Pattman and Jason Meyer tallied nine points each. Maine held a narrow 30-27 advantage at the halftime break, then sealed the victory with a 34-28 run in the second frame.
