AUBURN – A story on A1 Wednesday inadequately explained the consequence for Tammy Spence of Greene if an injunctive order is signed as the result of a civil lawsuit filed against her by the Attorney General’s Office. Spence would face charges of a Class D crime, punishable by up to a year in jail and a fine of up to $2,000 only if she were to violate an order signed by a judge following the presentation of evidence in the case. The penalties are not automatic upon issuance of such an order. The information was incorrectly reported.
