Burglars throw a party at Frost Farm
DERRY, N.H. (AP) – Police are looking for burglars who broke into the historic Robert Frost Farm in Derry this week, threw a party for themselves and stole some items.
Police say someone broke into the 19th century farm sometime between Sunday and Tuesday, stealing a vintage velvet shawl, a rare pot scrubber and a button hook used to fasten buttons on shoes and shirts.
Laura Burnham, chair of the farm’s board of trustees, says she found beer bottles and several matches on the floor. She believes the intruders tried to light a kerosene lamp that did not contain any fuel.

State public health officials say anyone who thinks they may have come in contact with the fox should see a doctor.
Part of bandshell roof collapses
HAMPTON BEACH, N.H. (AP) – Part of the concrete roof at Hampon Beach’s Seashell Stage collapsed during the weekend.
It happened in the middle of the night, and no one was hurt. The state has made a temporary fix, but also has closed off two wings of the stage, which is used for outdoor musical performances.
Parks and Recreation Director Allison McLean said the roof collapsed after heavy rain Saturday night.
McLean said a more permanent solution is expected in the fall, when the state hires an engineer to recommend what to do with the stage.
