MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) – An American Airlines jet was diverted to Manchester on Thursday after crewmembers and passengers smelled smoke.
Flight 1251 had just left Boston, bound for Chicago, when it headed to Manchester with a report of a smell of smoke in the cargo compartment. The plane landed safely at Manchester-Boston Regional Airport shortly before 10 a.m.
No one was hurt and engineers are checking out the plane.
