PORTSMOUTH, N.H. (AP) – Public Service of New Hampshire’s wood-burning power plant is producing electricity.
The plant was built last year as an addition to Schiller Station. A boiler fire in September delayed the project.
According to the New Hampshire Timberland Owners, the plant began burning between 70 and 80 loads of wood chips daily last week.
