CONCORD, N.H. (AP) – Health officials say there have been dozens of outbreaks of a highly contagious virus in the past several weeks in New Hampshire.
Since Dec. 1, there have been 34 outbreaks or suspected outbreaks of norovirus, which can cause severe stomach flu-like symptoms such as vomiting and diarrhea.
The six most recent cases were in Derry, Dover, Wolfeboro, Concord, Hanover and Cornish.
More than 200 people have been affected statewide.
