CONCORD, N.H. (AP) – Banks estimate as many as 100,000 bank accounts were compromised in a computer hacking scheme at T.J. Maxx and Marshalls stores.
Massachusetts-based TJX Companies announced earlier this month a hacker got access to the company’s computer systems and stole transaction histories.
The error is expected to cost consumers $1.5 million.
