MEREDITH, N.H. (AP) – After a scare from the record warmth earlier this winter, frigid temperatures have frozen New Hampshire lakes to set the stage for this weekend’s big ice fishing derby.
Anglers are setting up shop on lakes and ponds for the 28th Great Rotary Ice Fishing Derby.
The fundraising event attracts thousands of anglers hoping to win everything from ATVs and trailers to a canoe and cash.
