HUDSON, N.H. (AP) – A man is under arrest on a charge of holding up a convenience store with a hammer.

Police arrested Sean Sullivan, 39, early Saturday. They said he brandished the hammer, threatened a customer with it and made off with cash and alcohol. Police said they caught Sullivan after a mile-long chase when he turned onto a dead-end street.

Sullivan was jailed on $25,000 bail and was to be arraigned Monday in Nashua District Court on charges of armed robbery, criminal threatening and a motor vehicle offense.
