CONCORD, N.H. (AP) -Th former treasurer of two baseball leagues in Tilton and Northfield has been charged with stealing from one, while an investigation continues into money missing from the other.
Kimberly Daniels, 39, is charged with stealing at least $1,000 from the Twin Rivers Babe Ruth baseball league. The league is beginning its season $3,500 in debt.
Police said Daniels used the money to pay her own bills.
Meanwhile, police still are investigating thousands of dollars missing from the Tilton-Northfield Little League. Daniels was treasurer and co-president of the league until last year. Previously, police said they had a single suspect in both cases.
