COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) – Fledgling startup Skybus is offering some one-way tickets from Portsmouth, N.H., to the Midwest for as little as $10.
Ohio-based Skybus Airlines will begin flying on May 22 and serve nine cities by mid-June. The airline says it will set aside 10 seats per flight at the cheapest rates, with other one-way tickets costing as much as $80.
Skybus sells tickets only through its Web site and passengers will be charged for things such as in-flight food and drinks. Carry-on luggage is free, but checked bags are an additional fee. The fares also do not include airport taxes and fees.
