WHITEFIELD, N.H. (AP) – A pilot suffered a minor injury Sunday when a strong wind blew his plane into a ditch as he landed at Whitefield Regional Airport.
Steven Furquharson, 41, of Bethlehem was treated at the scene. He was alone in the plane. Furquharson was landing his twin-seater plane just before 10:30 a.m., when a crosswind caused it to veer off the runway and into a ditch, police said.
