NASHUA, N.H. (AP) – A Nashua man was sentenced to 15 years in prison Thursday after pleading guilty to killing his infant son in 2005.
Andrew Roberts, 20, was accused of violently shaking 6-month-old Devin Logan and then lying to police. Devin suffered brain and spinal cord injuries that eventually led to his death.
Roberts said in court that words can’t express how sorry he is.
He initially blamed his mother for the homicide, but he changed his story about a year later and confessed to police.
Roberts was sentenced to a minimum of 15 years in prison for manslaughter, perjury and making a false report to police.
