HENNIKER, N.H. (AP) – Rescue crews pulled three teens from a fast-moving section of the Contoocook River on Monday after they ran into trouble on a makeshift raft.

Safety officials say the teens duct-taped two pool rafts together and went for a ride on the river. But the raft struck a rock in a rapid section and deflated. Crews used ropes to pull the teens, aged 13 and 14, to safety. No one was injured.
