RUMFORD – The auditorium at Mountain Valley High School will come alive with the sound of young singers and energetic dancers Friday and Saturday, June 1-2, when Expressive Movement Performing Arts Center Inc. presents “Mary Poppins.”

The show will open with Expressive Movement’s own Thea Dunn’s rendition of “Spoonful of Sugar,” with young dancers performing with taps and turns.

The roles of Jane and Michael Banks will be played by Kathryn Coolidge and Elizabeth Adley, respectively, with their nanny, Mary Poppins, played by Terissa Ridge, and her friend Burt played by Elaina Waite.

The two-hour show will begin at 6 p.m. Tickets, $10 for adults, $8 for students, will be sold at the door. For more information, call 364-2543.
