PORTLAND – PCA Great Performances was informed earlier this week that the Portland run of the national 2006-07 tour of “Cats” has been canceled. Logistical issues forced the tour managers, Columbia Artists Theatricals and Troika Entertainment, to withdraw the New England leg of the tour.

Ticketholders for the originally scheduled dates of June 29-30 will be given refunds through PortTix, the box office at Merrill Auditorium. Tickets purchased by credit card will be automatically refunded. Customers need not contact the box office. Ticketholders who paid by cash or check should contact PortTix at 842-0800 to arrange a refund. The deadline for all refund transactions is June 30.
