AUBURN – Director Richard Martin has selected the cast for Disney’s high-energy show “High School Musical” to be presented by the Lewiston-Auburn Community Theatre July 25-29 at the Great Falls Performing Arts Center.

Cast in the six leads are Colin Whiteman and James Kramlich as Troy and Chad in the Jocks; Katherine Demarest and Katie St. Pierre as Gabriella and Taylor in the Brainiacs; and Kylie Keene and Michael Weber as Sharpay and Ryan in the Performing Arts students.

Completing the cast are Carl Zurhorst, Brett DeLauter, William Kramlich, Tamarick Peters, and Spencer Emersonas Jocks; and Brittany Martin, Molly Cloutier, Alex Jackman, Leslie Reed, Brittney White, Amanda Martin, and Molly Keane-Dreyer as Brainiacs.

The Performing Arts Students are Lindsay Carbonneau, Caleb Perry, Sarah Carbonneau, Carolyn Hoehne, and Natasha Johnson. Skater Dudes are Pablo Barajas, Shonah Russell, Andrew Jackson, and Suzie Assam.

Cheerleaders are H’Nette DeTroy, Alex Perry, Brianna Chu, Karen Kumaki, Tamiko O’Connell, Cat Haley, Logan Michaud, and Shae Godbout.

Vincent Ratsavong will play Jack Scott, the narrator, who pulls the show together; Anne Caldwell is Ms. Darbus, the drama coach; and Sara Spellman has the role of Kelsi.

Martin’s production crew includes Bob Caldwell, musical director; Lacey Moyse, choreographer; Karen Mayo, producer; Paula Masselli, props mistress; Doreen Traynor, costume designer; Jacob Chaloux, sound; Katy Bouchard, stage manager, assisted by Lindsay Nadeau; and Rachel Morin, publicity. Martin is also light designer.

The full-length stage musical, one of many now produced by Disney, contains all the songs from the hit TV movie soundtrack along with two new numbers.
