MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) – Police have charged a Manchester woman with assaulting her teen-age son when he refused to give her money to buy drugs.
Police say when they responded to a reported domestic dispute, the mother said her son had assaulted her, though they found no signs of injury.
However, they say a witness backed up the 17-year-old son’s account that the mother became angry with him when he refused to give her drug money, beating him in the face with a phone and stomping on his foot.
She is charged with assault and resisting arrest.
