PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) – Who needs Rockefeller Plaza when you can skate in downtown Providence?
The Bank of America City Center outdoor skating rink opened this week. It’s twice the size of the Rockefeller Plaza ice rink in New York City.
Last year, 60,000 skaters used the rink. Weekend hours are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Admission is $6 for adults and $3 for children under 12 and senior citizens.
Skate rentals are $4.
