AUBURN – Custom Metal Fabrication and River Ratts moved within one victory of a berth in the L/A Senior Hockey League championship game with their second straight playoff victories last weekend.
Custom shut out Taylor Brook Dental, 5-0, while the Ratts routed Aggreko, 5-1. Both teams remained undefeated in their round-robin playoff bracket.
The top teams in each division after Friday and Saturday round-robin games will meet in the title game at 6:15 p.m. Sunday.
